Cymbals can be quite expensive. The price of professional grade cymbals range between $300 to over $1000. This can be difficult for new drummers buying their first kit. Fortunately, the better brands have addressed the issue by creating cymbals that use less expensive materials but still have a great sound. Professional cymbals are almost always made of a bronze/zinc compound. The cymbals listed in this section are made of brass. But fear not! As long as you stick to the better brands, you will always get a cymbal that sounds good. They have their reputations to consider so they won’t put out a trashy sounding cymbal (unless the cymbal is meant to sound that way). It is important to remember to always buy cymbals from a well regarded manufacturer. Stay away from the cheaper brands. Here are some cymbal packs that we think are perfect for drummers just starting out.
